Luke and I got to take a trip by ourselves this weekend and we went to Marfa- it was a beautiful drive through the Davis mountains. We spent the weekend eating good food, relaxing, and going to galleries. Marfa was just amazing to me in that it is such a small town (much smaller than Big Spring), yet it attracts so many tourists and has such a cool feel to it.
Here's the view from the Chinati Foundation, an art space we toured. The concrete blocks in the distance are some of the art done by Donald Judd, who started the Foundation:
