Mary Beth Jumping Bean

A White Christmas

The snow was pretty; however, it did mess up some of our Christmas plans. Oh well, you don't get a white Christmas in Texas too often, so I'll take it!!

Christmas Dance

Bea did a dance at the retirement home last night- here's the video, and her looking just precious:

Twinkies

All the kiddos in matching pajamas. Jake was a little bit upset. I knew there was no way I'd get a nice, posed picture of all 4 of them at the end of the night.
Sisters in matching clothes- cute!

Cookie Day!

Gingerbread cookie time!

Snow in West Texas!

Up at the crack of dawn to play in the snow: Making snow angels:
Everybody in the snow! This makes a good picture, but really wasn't worth it. After taking about a half an hour to get everyone ready, they were all out there for 2 minutes before they started complaining about the cold. WIMPS! :) They obviously are Texans....

Thanksgiving Bounty

A plethora of children:
Pumpkin, pecan, and apple pies:

Here's how we read at our house

Wow it's been a whole month since I've written on this blog! I can't imagine WHAT I've been doing! Life is getting more and more crazy- the kids are just getting more active. They can't be held in by my makeshift port-a-crib barricade anymore, so they pretty much have full run of the house. Mary Beth has started walking, and it so cute because she's so teensy. I'll post a video soon of that.

Anyway, here's daddy attempting to read to everyone:

Mary Beth is Cute

But we already knew that, right?

Eddie's First Haircut

Before: quite shaggy

Before: the Tail/Mullet
During: He was a very good client- chewed on a comb the whole time
After: A clean-cut kid!

Arrrr, Matey!

I told Bea to go get dressed and this is what she came up with:

random pictures

I've been busy making my blog into a book now that the first year is over. I want to save some of these posts and pictures into a more permanent form. So, that's why I haven't been very post-ey lately.

Here are some updates, though:
Jake is pulling up onto his feet and makes funny grunting noises like he's about to turn into the Incredible Hulk Baby or something. He loves trucks and wheels (what is up with that and boys?)

Eddie is taking a few steps! But then he decides that it's faster to crawl. He's also got a lovely new habit of shoving anyone in the face who's in his way. And he climbs on the couch and thinks he's king of the mountain.

Mary Beth claps, waves bye-bye, and shakes her head "no". It's really cute!

Watching Mimi and Bea through the window:
Let's go, mom! We want to see the world!
