20 Weeks!

Our first big milestone- and I'm getting much bigger along with it! I'm already growing out of the maternity clothes I have and had to go to the store to get some XL's..yeesh...

Daddy's here for the weekend!

And here's what we did last night (well, what they did while I sat in a lawn chair and took pictures):
Fishing at Mimi's house. Didn't catch anything, but that's okay because earlier we went out to eat and I ate my weight in fried catfish. Mmmm...Omega 3's.....

But is it art?

No, it's just Sesame Street!

Bea enjoying the piano

in her new playroom at Mimi's house:

New ultrasound pictures

Met the new doctor yesterday- she is awesome! She spent AN HOUR with me, and did my ultrasound. She recently delivered triplets that made it to 35 weeks, with only one week in the NICU- I hope I can do that!! She said they are definitely Boy, Boy, Girl, but only Baby B would cooperate enough to get some good 3-D shots. I've never had those done and it was very emotional to see all the detail. So here they are:

This is Baby B with his hands over his eyes, mouth and chin below- you can see the fingers!
And this is B's feet- you can see the bottom of the foot with the other foot on top of it- like his legs were crossed:
Pretty amazing, huh?

okay, so I went to the hospital for the first time...

Got your attention, huh? Yes, I was having pains, and I called my new doc (who I haven't even seen yet), and since it was Friday at about 3ish she wanted me to go to Labor and Delivery. I was hesitant, but the nurse's exact words were "you're having triplets-you need to be cautious". So I went in about six, they strapped a contraction monitor on me. It showed nothing. They checked everything, and did an ultrasound. Two and half hours later I'm out with a clean bill of health! Babies are fine.

A side note about the ultrasound: the tech was very thorough, a grizzled looking man who's been doing this for years, very fast, took about 50 pictures of them. I asked if he could tell me the genders and he said he didn't normally do that for emergencies. But after the end of the ultrasound, and some conversations about movies (yeah Labor and Delivery was not that busy last night), he told me that C is a GIRL!!
So yay.

What house is this?

Wow, the things that can be accomplished with a housecleaner (and a 3 year old not living there....)

definitely my kid

Hanging out in Bea's new room in Denton, she's perusing her book collection and says " I love reading books!", in a very endearing voice. I am so proud.

Sent daddy back to Austin today (wah!) to sell that house - he'll be back soon, but we already miss him...

Yee-haw! Off to Denton tomorrow...

We are crazy busy here on our last day in Austin, and a little sad, too....
