Eddie, Jake and Mary Beth are Two!
Well what happened? It's been a long time since I've posted, and- big surprise- it's because we've been so very busy! So here are a few updates from our last couple of months.
We got the babies a train set for their birthday, and of course they love it! Here is everybody playing with it:
Eddie likes to go in the "train room" by himself to chill and hang out with the trains (well, "choo-choos" is the preferred term):
Jake, first thing in the morning, from the looks of it:
Daddy with babies (can't really call them that anymore, can I?) at the pool in Bandera, where we spent 4th of July weekend at his family reunion:
Birthday cake! (no, I didn't make it):
Getting ready for some birthday fun, and lots of puzzled looks when everybody sang:
Mmmmm....cake....
And presents!
And choo-choos!
"My choo-choo!" is one of Jake's favorite phrases these days:
Yes, it's all about the choo-choos:
Ah, let the terrible two's begin!!

Rodeo Parade
Bea's 5th Birthday Party
Bea turned FIVE!! So we had a "splash party" here at the house. Here she is prepping the pinata the night before:
Her fabulous Spongebob cake:
Our festive backyard:
Slip 'n Slide!
Tearing into the presents:
And smashing that beautiful pinata:
The party was a success- everyone had lots of fun and the babies napped through the whole thing, which made it alot easier on me. We even had a visit from the ice cream man! And some fun sunburns to remember it by (yes, I have heard of SPF...)
